Clearly, men start to gain more and more weight as they get older, and by the time they reach middle age, many men are overweight or obese. In fact, one-third of men who are between 45 and 54 years old and living in England have been diagnosed as obese, and 46% of the men are overweight.
Why are so many men gaining so much weight? Well, men tend to be far less active in their 40s and 50s than they were in their 20s and 30s. On top of that, stress from work and family obligations can play a role in their sedentary lifestyle and poor eating habits.
